Shred Green Teams with Reaping Nature Education Foundation for America Recycles Day
Atlanta document shredding and storage company Shred Green teams up with Reaping Nature Educational Outreach Foundation to celebrate America Recycles Day.

SNELLVILLE, GA, November 12, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Atlanta document shredding company Shred Green will be participating in a Go Green event this Sunday, November 13, at Harry's Farmers Market in Roswell to encourage the community to be involved in the nationally recognized celebration. This is a day set aside to promote recycling in the US through education and motivation. Many such events will be held nationwide. Shred Green is a long-term promoter of recycling year around with its Atlanta document shredding service and is glad to team up with Reaping Nature Educational Outreach Foundation in this event.

Reaping Nature Educational Outreach Foundation, Inc., a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, provides environmental education programs for children and the public, with a special emphasis on underserved and disadvantaged children in Title I schools.

Environmental education teaches children and adults to care for their natural environment. Educating others to care for issues impacting our environment, such as resource depletion, recycling and water/energy conservation is an investment for all of us.

At this event Atlanta document shredding company Shred Green will be shredding personal documents on site. Paints will be recycled for reuse by Williams Paint Recycling, with a percentage of the proceeds going to Reaping Nature to help fund their education programs. "This is a win-win Go Green event for the community," remarks Kathy Perkins, co-owner of Shred Green, "one that we at Shred Green are always happy to support. Not only will this event bring awareness to the value of recycling by providing a venue for paper and paint recycling but it promotes the educational awareness as well."

Shred Green is committed to community outreach, and is frequently involved in educational programs or charitable Atlanta shredding events and encourages all to attend this event and recycle. The event will take place on Sunday, November 13 from 3pm to 6pm at Harry's Farmers Market, 1180 Upper Hembree Road, Roswell. Participants can bring their documents to shred for $4.00 a single bankers box and those paper shreds will be recycled. Household paint in the original containers up to 10 cans per customer can be dropped off for $15.00.
