Attorney Evan Guthrie is a graduate of Bishop England High School and this was his first time speaking at the school's career day. Mr. Guthrie was speaking on behalf of the legal profession for the career day to students that were interested in one day becoming lawyers and interested in a career in law.

Attorney Guthrie spoke about the process of becoming a lawyer starting with the steps the student could take while they were still in high school to help them on their path. Mr. Guthrie then talked about college and law school and shared some advice on how to best accomplish these hurdles on the way to becoming an attorney. Attorney Evan Guthrie spoke about the different types of lawyers and the different types of law that lawyers practice. Mr. Guthrie talked about some of his most interesting cases that he has been involved with so far, and the students were entertained.

Attorney Guthrie then took questions that ranged from how to decide what cases to take to how much compensation a lawyer receives from different cases and how fees are set and collected. Mr. Guthrie spoke to three different sessions of students for the career day for about a half hour. Attorney Evan Guthrie enjoyed being able to give back to students that sat where he once was and give them help and advice to accomplish their goals and dreams.
